Newton is a proprietary tool which has been trained on RV teaching and learning material. Once a student has completed a task or test, on the basis you’ve enabled automarking, Newton will go to work behind the scenes and mark the content.
On rare occasions due to high load, Newton may take a few minutes to a few hours to automark student submissions. The automarking status is displayed for each student on when viewing an assessment/task.
Students will receive a grade and feedback on their working. As a teacher, you’re more than welcome to withhold the grades or feedback, modify them, or allow students to gain immediate access.
